Fun Baby Socks Make the Outfit

How do you fold ‘em? Baby clothes in general but specifically, baby socks. How do you keep them together out of the wash without folding over the tops and stretching them out or having to look frantically through the dresser every day to find a matching pair? Although, in this world of unmatched socks, maybe it’s becoming less of and issue.

They are truly the cutest thing though. Aside from your baby, of course. During the newborn stage, baby socks are a very important piece of clothing. Newborns and infants don’t wear shoes yet. Keeping your baby’s feet warm is critical. Let’s face it, the more comfortable your baby feels, the less they cry. Every new mother and father will want a big supply of baby onesies and socks on hand.

The first days, weeks and months home from the hospital are challenging to any family whether this is your first baby or you have several children. There’s a new life to take care of and then there’s still you just out of the hospital healing from childbirth or a c-section and possibly other little ones who also need care.

Stocking up on items like baby socks will just be one less thing to worry about. If you have a good supply of baby clothes, you won’t have to wash, dry and fold laundry every day. And, who has the time with an infant, to be doing laundry? We barely have time to shower some days of the week. If we do get a break, those few minutes will be spent sleeping or at least taking a cat nap.

Baby socks come in several colors, styles and designs. We have skull baby socks, tattoo baby socks, baby socks that look like sneakers for baby boys and baby socks that look like shoes for little girls. We have polka dot baby socks, striped baby socks and knee socks for babies.

Infant socks are inexpensive and can be machine washed and dried. We do suggest putting all your baby socks in a garment bag to prevent losing a sock in the dryer or washing machine.

In addition to practical use, baby socks can accent a boring baby outfit or make a cool baby one piece more exciting. Many baby shower attendees buy baby socks to complement a baby outfit. Adding socks to a new mom gift completes the set. Or, adding cool baby socks to a new dad gift makes it edgy and punk.

Many baby showers invitations ask you to bring a gift for the wishing well. A wishing well gift is a small gift, in addition to your larger baby shower gift or the baby gift you purchased from the new parent’s gift registry. This is a great opportunity to buy a few pairs of baby socks for the busy, new parents and drop them into the wishing well.
